Fixes for building scotch in conda-forge / Windows shared library builds
Hi there,
We are building scotch in the community led https://conda-forge.org project. We have a bunch of patches that you might be interested in - please see the https://github.com/conda-forge/scotch-feedstock/tree/main/recipe for that. Let me know if you want me to open a pull request here to upstream these patches.
I am currently preparing a pull request that aims to build scotch also on Windows (currently we only build linux and osx): https://github.com/conda-forge/scotch-feedstock/pull/73 As you can see in my latest comment (https://github.com/conda-forge/scotch-feedstock/pull/73#issuecomment-1462934070), I managed to build scotch with static libraries successfully (there are a bunch more patches in the pull request which fix up issues with Windows). However, conda-forge requires a shared library build and I am struggling to get this to work. Any help with the build process of shared libs + Windows would be highly appreciated.
Many thanks, Tobi
