emits memset size warnings on armel armhf ppc64el with glibc 2.34
A debian bug filed at https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=1017033 notes that scotch emits memset size warnings with glibc 2.34 on armel, armhf and ppc64el architectures. A test log is found at https://ci.debian.net/data/autopkgtest/testing/armel/s/scotch/24593514/log.gz
The warnings look like
test_scotch_graph_induce.c: In function ‘main’:
test_scotch_graph_induce.c:134:3: warning: ‘memset’ specified size
between 2147483649 and 4294967295 exceeds maximum object size 2147483647
[-Wstringop-overflow=]
134 | memset (orgparttab, 0, orgvertnbr * sizeof (SCOTCH_GraphPart2));
| ^~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
We could just ignore them (they're warnings not errors), but perhaps they're a symptom of something that should be fixed.
