[JOSS review] Testing; automated tests
One of the JOSS review criteria is automated tests, or descriptions of manual tests that verify the functionality. You describe running miet::miet_simpleTest
, but there's no summary of what this actually tests.
Since the code doesn't have any assertions / comparisons, it seems to mostly check all the dependencies etc. are installed.
I'd recommend writing tests that actually compare the data that is output by some of the functions such as the summary functions.
