Prepare SC23 Release

Lucas Meyer requested to merge sc23-release into develop

What this MR does:

  • Change vocabulary from buffer to reservoir (mostly everywhere).
  • Adapt termination conditions.
  • Apply diff taken from heatpde-sc2023 branch directly.

The MR should be thoroughly tested prior to release. Once merged the goal is to create a tag on develop.
