Here is a set of matlab and python routines allowing to download ERA-
INTERIM data and create daily ROMS frc and blk files (similar to NCEP
    ones).

--> First the user need to download the ERA-INTERIM data using a python
script located in Aforc_ECMWF. To do so, he/she needs to follow the
    instructions written in Aforc_ECMWF/README_python, i.e. :
    1- Install an ECMWF KEY
2- Install client libraries - Python
3- Complete the parameters in the ERA-Interim_request.py script
4- Launch the python script (./ERA-Interim_request.py)

       - By default, downloaded data will be stored in Run/DATA/ERAI.
       - By default these data are NetCDF files interpolated on a 0.25x0.25
grid. Resolution can be changed easely in the python script.
--> See example of ECMWF requests at
    https://software.ecmwf.int/wiki/display/WEBAPI/Python+ERA-
    interim+examples

--> Then, the user need to adapt the romstools_param.m section :
    %--------------------------------------------------
    % Options for make_ECMWF and make_ECMWF_daily
    %--------------------------------------------------

--> Finally, executing make_ECMWF_daily under matlab should work fine.

    Have a nice day
