Make Sage scripts self-sufficient
Up to now, the various Sage scripts needed functions which were not included in the repository. These were added in src/generic/support/common.sage Documentation was added pointing users to this supporting script.
GitLab upgrade completed. Current version is 17.8.1: https://about.gitlab.com/releases/2025/01/16/gitlab-17-8-released/
Git-LFS is now available on our GitLab instance.
