Composite in relation while factoring a c190
This was reported by @x-RDucha [on the mailing list[(https://sympa.inria.fr/sympa/arc/cado-nfs/2022-09/msg00003.html)
Here's an excerpt of the dup2
output:
27 files (2 new and 25 already renumbered)
Reading files already renumbered:
Reading new files (using 3 auxiliary threads for roots mod p):
terminate called after throwing an instance of 'renumber_t::corrupted_table'
what(): Renumber table is corrupt: cannot find p=0x2a6ffd99, r=0x2a5b0ce6 on side 1
Note that:
sage: p=0x2a6ffd99
sage: factor(p)
26683^2
This should not happen. For some reason, the lattice sieving code produced a relation with a non-prime. It is true that cado-nfs should notify you more gracefully.
On the up side, you can almost certainly salvage most of your computation, though.
I would be interested in the output of
zgrep -lw c190.upload/*gz
And then please send me the file name that comes out of this command. It should be one of the last sieved files.
