Fix broken histogram edges

Error when using child_number attribute: ValueError: x and y arguments to pcolormesh cannot have non-finite values or be of type numpy.ma.MaskedArray with masked values ==> underlying error: histogramdd returns [-1, nan, nan, nan, ...] for the bin edges
