The following describes a range of functionality as understood by Concordant, that would be of interest to BASF, and that we need to add to current applications. A first round of discussions will be done to agree on the exact functionality to be delivered. Waiting for this decision, we will continue development as understood.

User Management:

• Creation of teacher profiles using admin credentials;
• Anonymous student accounts;
• Creation of groups, with pre-defined number of student slots.

LabSheet Management:

• Create templates for LabSheets;
• Assign LabSheets to groups;
• Overview the progress of each group;
• Report Generator.

LabSheet functionality:

• Types of Cell data:
  • Text, simple text with alphanumeric characters;
  • Numeric, floating point numbers;
  • Formulas, mathematical formulas with references to cell values;
  • Boolean, true/false values.
• Cell data format:
  • Numbers can have a configurable number of decimal places;
  • Boolean are represented by a checkbox;
  • Formulas provide a subset of MS Excel features.
• Cell is Multi-Value (concurrent updates results in keeping all values until one user pick up one value, then previous values are forgotten);
• Picking one value is a new assign, concurrent picking results in a new Multi-Value...
• Configuration:
  • Title of spreadsheet;
  • Number of columns;
  • Titles of columns;
  • Dimensions of cells.
• User access: per group;

Activity Management:

• Create activities;
• Assign activities to groups using a schedule;

Data clusters:

• Created by users;
• Automatically shared with users of the same group and associated teachers;
• Clusters have different types of data:
  • Notes / text;
  • Web links;
  • Tasks list;
  • Table (Spreadsheet);
  • Questionnaire (similar to a To-Do list, but each question has a group of answers);
  • Photo.

Report:

• Special visualisation of a group's data clusters;
• Can be edited at any time, showing the changes to the data clusters;
• PDF output with using decoration template.

PoP Network:

• A user can connect from any device (personal or provided by the lab) to PoPs password protected WIFI network;
• If the PoP is connected to the internet, collaboration is also possible through the Cloud service.

Cloud Service:

• Synchronisation of data to cloud server for back-up;
• Students can show at home what they have done;
• The provision and management of a cloud service are not part of the contract.
