The resolution of #27 seems tricky, not planned for %"Vite 1.3" and might be automagic if we merge !45 and/or switch to Vulkan. However, we could include in %"Vite 1.3" a detection of the bug: if we are not in a X environment, we know the bug will happen (does it happen only with or without VBO?) and we don't open the regular ViTE window, but just a warning popup telling user about this bug and the possible workaround.
