MPI tags in Chameleon/StarPU
Dear Colleagues,
We are getting this error: [starpu][_starpu_mpi_data_register_tag][assert failure] There is already a data handle 0x2ab04c2591e0 registered with the tag 1611063974 time_zpotrf_tile: starpu_mpi_tag.c:83: _starpu_mpi_data_register_tag: Assertion `!(_starpu_mpi_data_get_data_handle_from_tag(tag))' failed.
We use MORSE_user_tag_size(31,29);
29 is the maximum value because we have 4 descriptors and these 4 descriptors require 2 bits. We have 1156*1156=1,336,336 tiles. Our questions: 1) Is it possible to put long as tags? 2) Why Chameleon assigns such big numbers (i.e., 1,611,063,974) as tags while there are only 1,336,336 tiles?
There was a previous issue related to not enough MPI tags, but cant remember what was its outcome.
Thanks, Hatem and Kadir
