Regression with TCPWriter
Commit e27e2314 has changed the format of the TCPWriter header.... Before, various header information was sent as uint32_t, whereas the commit changed this to send size_t. This breaks at least external code reading the TCPWriter information on architectures where size_t differs from uint32_t (eg linux x86-64 where size_t is 8 bytes). For example, my external P300 code was reading an endianness information as 0 whereas OV was correctly defining it as 1.
I think we should keep backward compatibility here, I see no compelling reason to send the header as chunks of 64 bits. Furthermore, the chunk size should not depend on the architecture (as the communication could occur across machines), so using a standardized size as uint32_t seems the right choice here.
