What is ALPI ?
==============

    alpi is a Perl script that helps users install
    locally ALPAGE software. It can also be used to install a full
    linguistic processing chain for French based on
    DyALog, FRMG, lefff, lefff-frmg, sxpipe. A server of parser is
    also installed.


Documentation
=============

    All of the documentation is currently in POD format in file
    alpi. You should be able to read it by typing

    perldoc alpi

    at a command prompt.

Note for alpage.inria.fr webmaster
==================================

    To update alpi documentation web page, edit ALPAGE_DIR path in
    pod2web.sh. This is the path where you should have the sources of
    Alpage website. Then type:

    ./pod2web.sh

    A file alpidoc.xml will be generated in the website sources. Then
    compile the website.
